Taking the bold step

The director looked at him with pity at first but then remembered his commitment to work and also admired his drive to work to achieve more. He was told that his idea would be fronted to the management team and that he would receive the feedback in the course of the week. After about a week, he received the good news of getting a second job. He was ecstatic because in the blink of an eye, he had doubled his income 24 hours a day for the same person. What is the lesson here?

That you can do more my friend regardless of the position you are in. Now, before you jump in to tell me how you don’t have much time as the aforementioned cleaner, think again. Have you ever noticed people who are busier than you are yet still go ahead to accomplish more? I bet you have. I have seen many for example, if you have a full time job, you could utilize the time between 7pm and 10pm to work on a personal project, do consulting work, attend to your business and many other possibilities.

Anything is possible;

Regardless of your current profession, you can always figure out other opportunities, if only you focus relentlessly looking for answers. You can do this by asking a couple of questions; – 

• What else can I do? 

• What other skills do I possess? 

• What other opportunities are around me that I need to take care of? 

• Who else can I learn from that is doing more than I am accomplishing now? 

• What problems are people complaining about that I could turn into a service? 

• What other products or services can I offer to my existing clients?
  

When you find the answers, you will amaze yourself!
