THE STATE OF GRATITUDE
Can you hold yourself accountable for the things you say or do? Most likely not if you do not understand the full extent to where it can lead. This, could make, or break you.
Take for example the famous story of a gardener who always complained to his supervisor about how this particular tree always shed its leaves and complicated his work. After several checks and considerations, the tree is cut down and to the gardener's dismay, he realizes and complains again to his supervisor that he doesn't have anything else to do around because the tree gave him work that in turn got him paid.
There is need for us as human beings to always know our purpose in the positions we hold no matter how small or big they may be. No one is irreplaceable therefore we need to fulfill our duties and responsibilities even though they may seem not to be of value to us. It's not until that we lose such responsibilities that we value it. Therefore, we should be committed and have passion in whatever we choose to do.
